1) About Us
1.1) What is Sembawang Lighting
Founded in 1997, we started off as a lighting shop in the old Sembawang Shopping Centre. In 2007, we shifted to our current location at 602 Sembawang Road Singapore 758458. It is a shop house beside the new Sembawang Shopping Centre. We sell ceiling fans and LED lighting fixtures.
1.2) Why should i shop at Sembawang Lighting?
We are known for our reasonable prices and being trustworthy. You will get the items on time and our sales staff will listen to recommend a suitable light/fan for you. You can view over 1000 independent reviews on Google and Facebook.
1.3) Where is your location?

1.4) Can i take a bus or train to your shop?
Yes. You can take bus 856, 859, 858, 980 which stop directly in front of our shop (alight at Sembawang Shopping Centre). The nearest MRT is Canberra Station which you can walk about 15 mins to our shop. Otherwise, you can take the bus listed from Sembawang or Yishun MRT station.
1.5) Where can i park my car?
You can park at a) inside Sembawang Shopping Centre, b) Victory 8 grey building underground carpark, c) URA outdoor carpark opposite the mall.
1.6) Do you sell at other platforms?
No, we do not have shop on other online platforms such as lazada, qoo10, shopee, carousell for now.
1.7) Do you do delivery?
Yes, we have free delivery for purchase above $800. Otherwise its self collect or transport $30 per trip.
1.8) Do you do installation?
Yes, we can arrange local experienced electricians to install your lights/ fans. They charge a reasonable rate.
2.1) How do I place an order?

2.2) Can i order via whatsapp?
Yes. You can drop us a whatsapp. We can recommend you a suitable light or fan.
2.3) Can you write a quotation for me?
Yes. We can write a quote. Then you can make digital payment to confirm order. Next, we can arrange installation/delivery/self collection for the light/fan.
2.4) Do you have on-site quotation?
Our electricians can go on site to quote for $30 per trip. Otherwise, you can send us images of your current setup. We can provide some recommendation.
2.5) How long will it take to get my order?
Normally you can get your items within 7 working days. The earlier you order, the earlier you can get the light/fan.
2.6) What are the payment methods?
We accept PayNow to PayNow UEN 201315023M or DBS Current 003-924577-7. We accept cash or nets in store.
2.7) What if the item is out of stock after I ordered?
We will advise you on the stock availability when you order. If the item is out of stock for long duration, we will refund the full amount.
2.8) Do you accept credit card or hire purchase terms?
3.1) Is there any price difference between the website and retail store?
Our selling price is the same on both platforms.
3.2) Is all the items you are selling listed?
Yes. We try to list all the items are we sell to the best of our ability.

3.5) How long is the lighting warrranty? How long is the ceiling fan warranty?
We have 3 months carry in warranty for LED lighting. We have 1 year warranty for KDK, Crestar, Fanco, Samaire, Decken, Spin, Kaze, 2 years warranty for Acorn, 3 years warranty for Efenz.
3.6) What is the advantages for the lights/ fans bought from Sembawang Lighting?
We assemble and test our lights before issue to you. Assembly is a key thing as usual online lights are in loose pieces and may not be assembled safely by the electrician you hire. We have been testing our own lights for more than 23 years and highly experienced.
3.6) Can i get a discount if i buy more?
We can discount more for regular priced items if you purchase more. However for fixed price/ controlled price items, we are unable to discount further.
4) Installation services
4.1) Does your company have installation service for lights and ceiling fans?
Yes. We are able to arrange installation for items bought from Sembawang Lighting House. If the item is not bought from us, we are unable to install for you.
4.2) Is the product prices inclusive of installation?
The product price exclude installation unless otherwise stated.
4.3) How much is the installation?
For lighting fixtures, the installation rate will be $35/$40 for the 1st lamp and $8/$10 for subsequent lamps.
For ceiling fans, the installation rate will be $40-$60 for concrete ceiling and $150-$200 for false ceiling support. Find out more
4.4) Will the electrician take down the existing fan/light?
Yes. The electrician will remove the existing fan or light at no charge if the item is a standard size. If the existing light/fan is too heavy, the electrician will charge an additional labor fee. If the existing setup has holes to patch, he may charge a fee.
4.5) Is the installation inclusive of delivery?
Yes. If you arrange installation, the electrician will collect the item from our shop and bring the items along to your home.
4.6) When can the installation be arranged?
We usually arrange installation on monday to saturday 10am to 5pm. The timing for condominium is 10am to 5pm on weekdays and 10am to 12pm on a Saturday.
4.7) Can i request/change the installation date/time?
Once your installation is arranged, the electrician will lock in the timing in his schedule. So if you want to change the appointment, you can let us know in at least 3-4 days in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.
5) Delivery and Self Collection
5.1) Is the listed price inclusive of delivery?
If the purchase amount if above $800, we can deliver the items for free. If the purchase amount is less than $800, you either self collect for arrange delivery for $30 per trip.
5.2) How much to qualify for free delivery?
5.3) Can i request/ change the time and date of delivery?
Once your installation is arranged, we will lock in the timing in his schedule. So if you want to change the appointment, you can let us know in at least 3-4 days in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.
6) Exchange Policy
6.1) Can i exchange the item i bought? It is not installed yet.
Yes but we have to check the item first. Please let us know in advance. For specially ordered item, it cannot be exchanged or refunded.
6.2) Can i exchange the item i bought? Is is installed already.
No, we are unable to exchange the item if it is installed.
